About Pierrot
Pierrot is a British children’s furniture brand created to inspire creativity and celebrate the joy and adventure of childhood. Every Pierrot piece is handpainted and personalised in our studio in Sussex, England, creating furniture and accessories as unique as the children they are for.
The Inspiration
The idea was born when acclaimed decorative artist Tess Newall painted a chair for her son during his nap times. With a love of storytelling and a firm belief that children's furniture deserves to be as good as the grown-ups', she painted the very first Circus Chair. Pierrot soon captured the hearts of parents, grandparents and godparents looking for unique gifts that will be cherished for a lifetime. That first little chair is still used every day, carried around to every room in the house.

Our designs are timeless and we take huge joy in making each piece unique to you, whether you choose to Design Your Own chair, or commission a One of a Kind piece. Our collection includes handpainted chairs, tables, name plaques and hairbrushes. They are made for adventures and mischief, creating memories to be passed through generations, along with the treasures themselves.
